AWARD WINNING CANADIAN COUNTRY TRIO HIGH VALLEY NOMINATED FOR
TWO 2013 CCMA AWARDS

Toronto, ON – Announced yesterday at the 2013 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards press conference, High Valley has been nominated for Group Or Duo of the Year and Interactive Artist of the Year. The Country music trio’s latest album, Love Is A Long Road, has earned them three Top 10 singles, including “Let It Be Me,” which is their highest charting single to date. The track was Top 5 at Country radio and the accompanying music video was #1 on CMT.

“Being nominated for Group or Duo of the Year feels amazing, especially since great vocal groups were what made us fall in love with Country music,” says Brad Rempel. “We’ve worked really hard to always stay connected with our fans online, so we feel that the nomination for Interactive Artist of the Year is quite possibly the most important nomination we’ve ever received.”

Earlier this month, High Valley visited Toronto, where they sang the national album at a Blue Jays game to promote their upcoming performance at the Boots & Hearts Music Festival on August 4.

Rising stars in the American market, High Valley made their debut in January at the Grand Ole Opry with Country music icon, Ricky Skaggs. Additionally, they have performed at Nashville Lifestyles’ 9th Annual Music In The City concert and played at the Pittsburgh Steelers NFL pre-game show. Garnering significant media attention in the US, Entertainment Tonight hosted the online world premiere of their video “Love You For A Long Time,” the trio was featured on TheInsider.com and they were named one of Billboard’s “10 Artists To Watch In 2013” and Country Weekly’s “Ones To Watch In 2013.”

Since the release of their self-titled debut album in 2010, High Valley have earned a JUNO Award nomination, multiple CCMA Award nominations and a 2011 Canadian Radio Award in the Country category. Last November, the group won big at the Gospel Music Association of Canada’s Awards show. They took home three awards including
Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year, Country/Bluegrass Song of the Year for “Have I Told You I Love You Lately” and Artist of the Year.

High Valley has established themselves as a rising country group throughout North America, touring with international country stars Little Big Town, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, Paul Brandt, Alan Jackson, Emerson Drive, LeAnn Rimes and more.
