The Valory Music Co. Takes Innovative Approach To Launching Outlaws Like Me, In Stores June 21

Next week The Valory Music Co. will celebrate the release of Justin Moore’s new album, OUTLAWS LIKE ME (in stores Tuesday, June 21), with a week-long media blitz. Presented by NRA Country and Grand Avenue Chauffeured Transportation the adventure kicks off with a unique launch event from the lake in New York City’s Central Park on Monday, June 20.  Moore, who is an avid outdoorsman and is known for being the voice of small town America, will conduct six hours of live radio, television, online and print interviews from a bass boat in the middle of the lake. With a new twist on a tried-and–true concept, the Arkansas native hopes to prove that Country isn’t about a place; it’s a state of mind.

“I’ve traveled all around the country, and there is nowhere I feel more at peace than sitting on a boat in the lake,” says Moore, whose current single ‘If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away’ is Top 5 smash and climbing on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.  “The new album celebrates the lifestyle that I grew up with. When the label wanted to launch OUTLAWS LIKE ME in New York City, it seemed like an obvious choice to kick things off in a setting where I feel so much at home. My fans know that the music I make represents who I am and since the outdoors have been such a big part of my life, I want people to watch this and know that what you see is what you get. This is me, and that’s reflected on this album.”

Fans can join Justin as he talks to TV and radio stations across the country about his new CD – live from a boat on New York’s Central Park Lake – via a live stream at www.nracountry.com/justinmoore on Monday, June 20 from 6:00AM-12:00PM (noon) ET. A highlight reel from the morning will be available immediately following the live event.

While in The Big Apple, Justin will also make appearances on the nationally syndicated Better TV, three programs on the FOX News Network, ABC News, Entertainment Tonight and Good Day New York. On Tuesday, June 21, Justin will host an interactive live chat & exclusive performance from New York City at 4:00PM ET via www.livestream.com/justinmoore (fans can also access via Justin’s Facebook page).  Additionally, he will take the stage at  B.B. King’s in Times Square for a live show,  beginning at 8:00PM ET on Tuesday, June 21.

The rising star will continue an aggressive promotional push with stops in Indianapolis on Wednesday, June 22, where he’ll host a ‘Making Of The Album’ event; Milwaukee on Thursday, June 23, for a fan Q&A and Chicago on Saturday, June 25, making in-store appearance at the Best Buy in Tinley Park, IL.

Justin will wrap up release week with back-to-back opening slots on Rascal Flatts’ FLATTS FEST tour in Chicago and St. Louis.

About the Valory Music Co.: The Valory Music Co., the second of three labels established under the Big Machine Label Group umbrella, opened in November 2007.  The label celebrated its first #1 album with Jewel’s PERFECTLY CLEAR only 7 months after launching and then celebrated its first #1 single just 3 months later when Jimmy Wayne’s, “Do You Believe Me Now,” spent 3 weeks atop the Country singles charts.  In November 2008 the label signed multimedia superstar Reba McEntire who saw her first Valory Music Co. album release KEEP ON LOVING YOU debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and spend two consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. Since then Reba has enjoyed the two biggest chart hits of her illustrious 30+ year career when, “Consider Me Gone,” spent a historic 4 weeks at #1 and, “Turn on the Radio,” followed, allowing Reba to both begin and end 2010 at #1.  Southern stylist Justin Moore’s poignant anthem, “Small Town USA,” reached #1 in October of 2009 and he has quickly become a Country Radio airplay staple as well as a touring force to be reckoned with.  New to the label is southern Country-Rock sensation Brantley Gilbert who has already topped the Country Singles Charts by writing, “My Kinda Party,” for Jason Aldean.  New albums from Justin Moore and Brantley Gilbert are due in 2011.  The Valory Music Co. possesses an exclusive, in-house promotion branding team while utilizing existing Big Machine Records backroom service and is distributed by UMGD.
